Conservatives select Leeds North West election candidate
Andrew Huggins has been selected as the Conservative candidate for Leeds North West at the next general election.
Andrew, an airline captain, who previously served two tours of Iraq with the British Army, was selected by Conservative members in Leeds North West.
“It is a huge honour and privilege to be selected as the Conservative candidate for Leeds North West,” Andrew said.
“I won’t get involved in the types of political point-scoring we see down in Westminister and will concentrate helping local communities in this corner of West Yorkshire to develop.
“I look forward to working with the Government and our Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the five clear priorities – halving inflation, growing the economy, reducing debt, cutting the waiting list and stopping the boats.
“I will work towards improving our road, rail and air links as well and supporting local business to grow the local economy, create new jobs and promote apprenticeships.
“Until the General Election, I will work tirelessly to show people I would be the best MP for Leeds North West,” he added.
